Q. Can I stream/record the game?
A. Yes! I love when people share their experiences with the game to a wider audience.
Q. What about fanworks?
A. I greatly appreciate these as well. Thank you.
Q. What is the game made with?
A. The version of RPGMaker i used is VX Ace. A lot of the music was made in Rytmik Ultimate. All of the art was made in either Clip Studio Paint or Aseprite.
Q. Where can I find the game? Will it be available on other platforms?
A. as of now, it is on itch.io ONLY. I have some ideas of putting it elsewhere in the future, but i can't promise anything. For now, the itch.io link is the only one you should trust.
The game is made in an engine that's too old for console ports to be possible. that, and I'm only one person, so please don't count on that.
Q. Is this a horror game?
A. nope! it is an exploration/walking sim with light puzzle elements. Certain things happen that are reminiscent of other horror RPGs, but it definitely isn't a game designed to scare.
Q. Content warnings?
A. There are some spooky and tense bits. Eyes and slight body horror are a reoccurring theme. There is swearing. There is some very vague religious symbolism. Also, characters sometimes talk about depressing topics. I wouldn't say it's very intense though. The game is mostly kind of contemplative and sometimes outright silly.
Q. How long is the game?
A. I've seen playtimes vary a lot, but somewhere from 3-4 hours depending on reading speed and will to explore. The game encourages meandering but it's up to you.
Q. How is the title pronounced?
A. the intended pronunciation is "hay-luh-pee", similar to the name Penelope. literally no one says it like that, though, so don't worry about it too much.
Q. What gender is the protagonist?
A. The Angel uses they/it pronouns. They do not have a gender.
Q. How many endings are there?
A. There are four endings; three of them are accessible on what I would call a "normal" playthrough, but they can be found in any order. The fourth ending is intentionally harder to get, since it makes more sense after seeing the normal endings first.
hints for the fourth ending can be found at the bottom of the GUIDE page.
Q. What do the extra items in the game do?
A. Any items not required for game completion don't do anything except serve as extra secrets to find; leftover scraps from an earlier period in development. Some people believe these are required for the fourth ending, but this is false. Characters might have things to say about them, though.
Will be updated with future questions when necessary.
